Having suffered the last mass genocide in Europe, our closest Muslim neighbours in Bosnia continue to suffer from high levels of deprivation, particularly affecting widows and unemployed families. With almost 20% of the population in Bosnia living in absolute poverty and with no hope in sight, they have been neglected by the international community, living in isolation and under threat from powerful neighboring countries. The Greenhouse project offers an opportunity to help poverty-stricken families earn a respectable livelihood, all year round. By providing a family with their own Greenhouse, you will be enabling them to grow their own produce such as strawberries and sell them in the market, helping a family to sustain themselves. It costs £2,500 to provide a family with a fully equipped Greenhouse, seeds and water supply. You can support the full costs or partial costs. £2,500 you can fund a full greenhouse for a family to sustain themselves. £1,250 you can fund a half the cost to help a family sustain themselves. £500 you can fund a fifth of the cost to help a family sustain themselves. £100 you can fund a portion of the cost to help a family sustain themselves.
