On our recent visit to Syria, we visited Al Bab, Aleppo where it became apparent that the Syrian government has blocked water flow to the region by cutting off supplies from the local dams. This has caused an emergency situation as Syrian refugees are without access to clean water. It has also caused crop growth to be stunted and access to safe water to be scarce.
