Hi, it’s Dunja, I have pledged to raise £10,000 to provide 50 tents for displaced families in Gaza. It costs £200 to provide one family with a tent – Please donate and help me reach the target! £1,000 will fund tents for 5 displaced families in Gaza £600 will fund tents for 3 displaced families in Gaza £200 will fund one tent for a displaced family in Gaza It’s impossible to know for how long families will be in need of temporary shelter, it could be months but it could also be for many years to come. You could be providing semi permanent shelter for people who would otherwise have nothing. Yes, you could say that this is someone else’s problem, not yours, and that those with more money and resources should be responsible. But I ask you to take this responsibility onto yourself since, as we all know, just because someone else can and should, doesn’t mean they will. I implore you to care when others cease to.
