Campaign Story
It’s freezing in the Peak District and more-so in Syrian Refugee camps!
During these freezing cold months have you stopped to consider the journey of a refugee? Imagine having to suddenly flee your home on foot in search of safety out of fear for your life, with only the rucksack on your back whilst battling with the elements!
We are walking 5 miles Kinder Scout in the freezing cold in solidarity with refugees and the difficult journey they face in order to just survive. We are putting ourselves through a day of discomfort, cold, rain and mud in order to gain insight into understanding the difficulties of a Refugee’s journey.
Please support us by helping us to provide winter aid to a Syrian Refugee camp – helping the young and vulnerable to survive the bitter cold winter!
The target is for each hiker to raise £100 each in order to provide winter blankets, heaters and firewood in order to help vulnerable refugees to survive the bitter cold. Please support us now and be a part of us making winter life better for a refugee family!
Please state the name of the hiker you are sponsoring in the comment section when making you donation!
