Assalamualaikum,
We (Ammar, Syafiqah, and Shiba didi) attended a fundraiser in Blackburn, UK on 25th May 2024 (17th Dhu al-Qa’dah 1445); this was an event organised by Revive Darul Arqam, a Muslim charity registered in the UK (registration number: 1187831). The event was geared towards fundraising for the organisation’s emergency aid efforts in Gaza. Right now in Gaza, even clean water is a luxury. Families are thirsty, bread factories are closing, and life is becoming unbearable without water. 💧 Fundraising Target: £1,000 to Provide 11,200 litres of Water Clean water is life. And right now, it’s running out. Alhamdulillah we have access to a water station in Khan Younis where tanks are being filled with clean water and distributed to different areas in Gaza. ✅ 1 Tank = 7,000 litres ✅ 1 Tank = £800 ✅ 8 Tanks = 56,000 litres = £5,000.
