As salaam alaikum

It was the example of the people of Syria which inspired me to change my career path and work for the needy people of this Ummah, specifically those from Syria.

The Syria Bread Factory appeal has been at the heart of the work we do at Revive Darul Arqam since it was launched years ago. We began with a humble target of distributing 300,000 freshly bakes breads in Syria and the project has grown to over 1.5 million per year.

However, since the liberation of Syria last year, I have watched how the support for Syria has dwindled. People in Syria are as in need as ever. Still displaced. Still living in refugee camps. Still living through an economic crisis!

You simply cant bounce back from 13 years of war in a period of 6 months.

This Ramadan I have taken it upon myself to raise £1000 to feed 10,000 people in Syria this year.

£100 provides 1000 pieces of bread.
