Campaign Story

Bosnia Sustainable Indoor Farms

From relief to a livelihood that lasts. Thirty years after the Bosnian genocide, families are still rebuilding. Over 8,000 men and boys were killed at Srebrenica, 2 million people were forced from their homes, and today the population is shrinking as families leave in search of work. Those who stay, especially widows and families without work, struggle to provide for their children, and many face growing pressure on the land their families have lived on for generations. A Revive Indoor Farm changes that. Each 100 m² greenhouse is built on land secured for long-term community use and gives a family a year-round income. Two growing seasons feed the household and leave a surplus to sell at market, helping them stand on their own feet and stay rooted in their land.
