It is with deep humility and a sense of duty that I and my son Ibraheem Ali are preparing to embark on a deployment to Syria with the Revive Charity organisation.

Every year for the past few years, I have campaigned to support and raise vital funds for Bread Factories that support Syrian Refugee families. In October this year, I will have the opportunity to visit the refugee families and personally distribute your Sadaqah and Zakat donations; offering not only material aid but also a comforting presence, a reminder that they are not alone in their journey.
