Campaign Story

To our dearest family, friends, neighbours and community Assalamualykum warahmatulahi wabarakatuh Our names are Saarah, Maryam and Aaliyah. We are three sisters aged 11,8 and 5 and we are blessed in so many ways. We attended a charity event for Palestine recently, and our mummy has been showing us videos and explaining what is happening in Palestine. It’s not right and it’s not fair. The powerful leaders of the world are not doing enough. As little as we are, we want to.. we have to make a difference. We have to do something. We have each emptied our money box savings which we were building up to buy a Nintendo Switch and given this to charity, but they need more than that. Please can you help us raise more money to help the people of Palestine? They need food, water, homes, medicine.. they need peace and help. We want them to know that they are not alone and that we have not forgotten about them or given up helping them. They remind us of the brave warriors of Islam that we learn about in Madrassa, protecting the beautiful Masjid Al Aqsa, where Muhammed (SAW) led all the prophets in Salaah and rose up to meet Allah. That is our favourite story.  Just like Abu Bakr (RA) gave all his wealth, we can do the same. And then we can meet Abu Bakr (RA) in Jannah and tell him how he inspired us! We recently wrote messages that will go in the food packs sent to Palestine. Aaliyah wanted to share what she wrote; ‘We are making dua for you. I love you so much. I want to be your best friend in Jannah’ Aaliyah (5)

If we give to charity, we will get more. Allah has promised. And we can all be in Jannah together!
